Hear from the amazing mothers who are part of our Super Moms community
“When I got pregnant I was so stressed that I will add more responsibilities on my mom and I was worried about how I was going to support my baby. Super Moms gave me hope by providing me a space to be with other young moms like me who shared similar experiences. I am happy that my baby is born and is healthy and that Super Moms is continuing to support the baby by providing the necessary things like diapers, milk, etc.”
“The program helped me to be able to talk about my challenges and to relieve stress. I love that someone was listening to me and I was able to talk about anything without being judged. I love the community of Super Moms, every time I came to attend, I would go home happy. I also learned about what I should eat/should not eat when I was pregnant. I got to exercise and meditate and I always felt a difference after attending the sessions.”
“I wish I had a space that allowed me to talk about anything without being judged. When I was pregnant at a young age, I felt like I was a burden to my family, having to look after me and my baby. The reason I love working at Super Moms is because I get to support other teenagers so that they don't go through what I went through.”
“The Super Moms Program has helped me a lot. I did not plan to have my child and I did not have enough knowledge about how to take care of her. But, with the program I’ve learned a lot, I learned how to connect with my baby, to stay healthy by eating healthy and nutritious food, exercise and meditate. This program made a difference in my life because I did not have enough support from my family and there were people like Carol who cared for me and my baby, and so I gained confidence that I will become a great mom to my baby. Even after delivery, Carol still check on me and ask if I am okay and no one has ever done that. I wish the program could grow and continue helping others like me so that they can learn to care for themselves and their babies.”
